Article 1: Name

The organization shall be called 'ALL INDIA POWER ENGINEERS FEDERATION' (AIPEF), registered under Societies Act XXI of 1860.

Article 2: Registered Office

The registered office of the Federation shall be situated at New Delhi, which may be changed by resolution of the Federal Executive.

Article 3: Objectives

To provide a forum for formulating guidelines for coordinated development of power in the best interest of the nation and welfare of power engineers.

Bylaws & Rules

Membership Rules

  • Application for membership must be sponsored by two existing members
  • Membership fee must be paid within 30 days of approval
  • Members must update contact details annually
  • Code of conduct violations may lead to suspension

Meeting Procedures

  • Notice for meetings must be sent 15 days in advance
  • Minutes must be circulated within 7 days
  • Proxy voting allowed with written authorization
  • Video conferencing permitted for remote participation

Financial Rules

  • Expenses above ₹50,000 need Federal Executive approval
  • Annual budget must be approved at AGM
  • Utilization certificates required for all grants
  • Investment decisions need Finance Committee approval
